Happy Thanksgiving you guys!! I hope by now you’ve all had the chance to get your bellies full and gather with family. I’m taking time to write this blog in between my first plate of turkey settling and grabbing dessert, but I HAD TO share these photos with y’all ASAP because they are too good and I’m so thankful to have a platform that provides such cool opportunities like this.
The photographs above are part two of the collaboration I did with local Wichita Falls, Texas photographer, Leo Gonzalez. (@leogphotography on Instagram, check him out!!) This whole second photoshoot was planned super last minute, in fact we didn’t even think we would get to a second look after the velvet dress shoot because we were having too much fun with our creative ideas to be concerned with the ever-setting sun and a second outfit. Luckily we squeezed in enough time for golden hour at Lucy Park in downtown Wichita Falls because these photos came out so freaking amazing!!
I’ve been waiting to photograph what may be my new favorite jacket in my whole closet, and I’m a jacket girl y’all. This cheetah print, bomber-style jacket is on trend for the season and is so different from all the other cheetah jackets I’ve seen thus far! I got this Jack by BB Dakota jacket from Sewn Clothing Gallery but I’ve linked it below for all my non-local’s! Underneath the jacket I paired just a basic white graphic tee, nothing to crazy to pull away from the furry top layer! Grab your favorite tan OTK boots and a pair of black denim and you’ve created this easy look — don’t you just love jackets that make an entire outfit??
Besides having a rocking outfit for these photos, Leo was once again an awesome photographer and creative director to work with. He inspired all of these out-of-the-box soft hand poses and Vogue facials, and altogether helped me to know what wasn’t working and what was — he isn’t shy to tell you when you’ve captured a banger! It was so much fun working with a professional photographer who could capture what I was envisioning and take it to whole ‘nother level. I’m so in love with all of the photos he captured, we both had such a hard time picking our favorites and that’s all you can ask for after a photoshoot! I’m sure there will be another collaboration in the future, so keep your eyes out! In the mean time, for all the graduating seniors (or anyone really) looking to book a photo-session soon, Leo G. is your guy for photos that will stand out!!
